Medical Assistant Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to lead a team of dedicated medical assistants across our healthcare programs. In this role, you'll help deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients who need it most-supporting vulnerable communities while mentoring and guiding frontline staff.

  • Location: 2144 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19121 (Stephen Klein Wellness Center)
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Pay Rate: $55,232. / annually

What You'll Do:

  • Supervise, train, and support a team of Medical Assistants across multiple sites.
  • Ensure patient-centered, efficient, and high-quality care in clinical operations.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and day-to-day oversight.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to improve workflows, infection control, and patient outcomes.
  • Provide hands-on support as needed, assisting with vitals, exams, and specimen collection.

What You Bring:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant with 5+ years of experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role, REQUIRED.
  • Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for healthcare access.
  • Commitment to trauma-informed care and serving individuals with complex needs.
  • Prior experience in FQHCs or community health settings is strongly preferred.
  • Prior Experience with eClinical Works EMR, strongly preferred.
