Job Summary
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for providing daily support to the real estate and asset management department on development and capital projects, including applications, administration, predesign/feasibility analysis, planning and permitting, financing/budget management and construction management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support in tracking and updating project schedules, budgets and financial reports.
- Prepare assigned sections of funding applications and grant applications.
- Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and manage contracts; obtain vendor and consulting quotes and related tasks.
- Prepare for financial closings, including providing support with respect to organizational documents, background questionnaires, market and operations analysis, construction documents, property management documents, insurance, real estate documents, loan documents, tax credit documents and other documents.
- Assist with construction contract and other contract deliverables, tracking statuses and resolving problems.
- Assist with building turnovers; project closeouts; wage, participation and utilization compliance; and required submissions to project funders.

Education, Experience And Other Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (four years) and two years real estate, project management or property management related experience; or Associate Degree (or equivalent) or equivalent experience (two years) and four years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability to efficiently travel to and from properties, as required.

Physical requirements
- Ability to travel to and from different properties.
- Ability to traverse throughout properties, including ones that may be under construction or renovation.
