Job Summary: The High School Intern position is afforded to students who are actively enrolled in the College Access Program and would like to engage in paid work during the school year. Work experiences include helping out in the K-8 program, assisting at Helen Brown Community Center, completing special projects for the College Access Program, or other Project HOME-related assignments. The goal of this position is to provide students with paid extracurricular opportunities during the school year to help them build professional skills and learn more about different career options. There are four (4) High School Intern positions available. The rate is $9/hour for 8 hours a week, and assumes the student will be working throughout the school year, between October and June. |
