Job Summary: The Supported Employment Supervisor and Specialist supervise the Restroom Attendant programs and contracts at the Free Library of Philadelphia and the Municipal Services Building. This involves training and supervising residents who are employed part-time to perform outreach and light cleaning at the restrooms under contract. This position also manages a caseload of residents who are seeking employment and assists the Director of Employment and Education to develop new jobs with area employers.? The Specialist addresses barriers to employment by seeking to improve participant's skills, increasing access to jobs that have good earnings potential and supporting people to remain in jobs once employed.?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Supervise a team of 20 - 25 residents who are employed part-time at the Free Library of Philadelphia and Municipal Services Building to perform outreach and light cleaning in the restrooms. This includes recruiting, training and scheduling of the attendants and maintaining good communication with Library and Municipal Services Building staff and management.
Work with a caseload of up to 15residents on an individual basis to support achievement of employment goals.? Process includes intake, goal setting, job search, skill building, and partnering with residential staff around case management, as needed.
Work with the Employment Services team to develop and sustain relationships with current employer partners. Educate and advocate with employers, as needed.
Maintain updated employer records, caseload efforts, and participant outcomes.
Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate or bachelor's degree, with at least two years of experience working with individuals who have barriers to employment.
A sales/marketing aptitude.? Able to effectively communicate with hiring managers to support the placement of our program participants into jobs with good retention.
Experience and/or interest in recovery, mental health, poverty, and social justice.
Superior organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, resume writing, and using job search engines.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.? Equally comfortable with business leaders and individuals seeking to overcome obstacles to employment.?

Knowledge of supported employment model.
Strong network of business leaders in Philadelphia.
Supervisory experience
Experience with Efforts to Outcomes evidence-based tracking software.
