Supportive Employment Supervisor

Job Summary: The Supportive Employment Supervisor and Specialist oversees the Restroom Attendant programs at the Free Library of Philadelphia, training part-time resident employees in outreach and light cleaning, while also managing a caseload to support job placement, skill-building, and long-term employment retention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage 20-25 part-time resident employees in outreach and cleaning at Free Library locations, including recruiting, training, and scheduling.
  • Support social enterprise staff in achieving employment goals through intake, goal setting, job search, skill building, and collaboration with residential staff.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employer partners, advocating and educating them as needed.
  • Keep updated records on employer relationships, caseload progress, and participant outcomes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate/Bachelor's degree with 2+ years working with individuals facing employment barriers, or High School Diploma and 4 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Strong marketing and communication skills for effective engagement with hiring managers.
  • Experience with behavioral health and/or homelessness, the supported employment model.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, resume writing, job search engines, and possessing strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
