Project Manager

Project HOME is seeking a Project Manager to help advance strategic priorities across our Supportive Housing Operations (SHO) department.

The Project Manager supports the advancement of departmental priorities by developing, planning, and implementing strategic initiatives that strengthen operations, communication, staff development, and organizational culture within the SHO department. This role collaborates closely with leadership and staff to translate organizational goals into actionable plans, improve internal systems, and support cross-departmental coordination. The position also plays a key role in strengthening staff engagement, integrating feedback from staff and residents, and fostering leadership development across the department.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, develop, and implement strategic initiatives that align with SHO and organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors as needed for projects.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans using project management tools, monitor and track progress, and ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Support the implementation and tracking of the organization's strategic plan within SHO, and play a key role in communicating priorities to staff to build understanding, engagement, and buy-in.
  • Lead departmental responses to the SHO Staff Belonging and Engagement Survey, including analysis of results and coordination of action plans.
  • Lead the SHO response to the Annual Resident Survey, ensuring resident feedback informs operational improvements and service delivery.
  • Design and implement initiatives that promote a culture of celebrating and acknowledging staff and resident achievements.
  • Develop and manage communication strategies to improve information flow and transparency across the SHO department.
  • Establish and maintain organizational systems that support policy compliance, procedural consistency, and operational accountability.
  • Support the development, coordination, and integration of director-led committees to advance departmental priorities.
  • Identify and support interdepartmental strategic initiatives that improve collaboration, service delivery, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and provide updates, recommendations, and performance insights to leadership.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Social Work, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in operations management, program management, strategic planning, or nonprofit administration.
  • Experience coordinating cross-departmental initiatives, organizational improvement projects, or strategic planning processes.
  • Experience working in human services, supportive housing, or nonprofit organizations strongly.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting leadership teams, managing complex projects, and implementing organizational initiatives.
