Quality Assurance Agent
At Project HOME, every role contributes to our mission of empowering individuals to achieve stability, wellness, and self-determination. As a Quality Assurance Agent, you'll play an important role in supporting HOMEBooks, Project HOME's social enterprise program.
This position combines inventory management, quality assurance, data entry, customer service, and administrative support. You'll help ensure products are accurately represented online, inventory is properly maintained, and customer inquiries are handled professionally while developing valuable workforce skills.

- Location: Christopher J. Seward Residence - 1515 Fairmount Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19130
- Schedule: Part-Time | Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday 1:00PM to 5:00PM | Sunday 9:00AM to 5:00PM
- Compensation: $18.15/hour
- Eligibility: Current or Former Project HOME Resident
What You'll Do
Perform Quality Assurance & Data Accuracy Checks
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure books are accurately listed and described.
- Verify inventory information between online databases and physical inventory.
- Identify and report discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Help maintain accurate records and inventory systems.
Support Inventory Management
- Upload new books and inventory into online systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation.
- Organize inventory to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
- Help maintain an accurate and organized inventory process.
Provide Customer Service Support
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate with customers regarding products and orders.
- Escalate issues or concerns to management when appropriate.
- Support a positive customer experience.
Administrative Support
- Complete data entry and inventory tracking tasks.
- Maintain organized records and documentation.
- Support operational projects as assigned.
- Assist the HOMEBooks team with day-to-day activities that support program success.
What You'll Need
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Must be a current or former Project HOME resident.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Experience working with inventory, data entry, or administrative tasks preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain accuracy while completing repetitive tasks.
