Human Resources Generalists

Job Summary: The HR Generalist manages daily HR operations, including benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. This role ensures timely and accurate delivery of HR services, addressing organizational needs and maintaining compliance with regulations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and reporting requirements (EEO, OSHA, FMLA, etc.).
  • Manage employee records, HRIS updates, and data accuracy.
  • Conduct personnel file audits and prepare compliance reports.

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Ensure seamless new hire processes and conduct benefit orientations.
  • Assist hiring managers with staffing decisions, reporting, and employee retention strategies.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee relations issues, such as performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management for problem resolution.
  • Support succession planning and employee development.

Benefits Administration:

  • Oversee benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes, ensuring compliance with ACA reporting.
  • Provide counsel to employees regarding benefit plans, enrollment, and options.
  • Manage workers’ compensation, disability, and leave processes.

HRIS & Reporting:

  • Maintain HRIS data, process employee changes, and generate HR reports (new hires, terminations, etc.).
  • Create reports for management to support decision-making and staffing needs.
  • Navigate HRIS system becoming subject matter expert

General HR Support:

  • Respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims.
  • Assist with HR events and other duties as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all employment laws.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (4 years).
• At least five (5) years HR experience in the following areas: talent acquisition, customer service, presentation/facilitation, benefits administration and employee engagement.
• Advanced Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite and analytical tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational and customer service orientation are required.

What Qualifications or Experience You May Bring:
• Experience in DEIB: Implementing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives or programs fostering an inclusive work culture.
• Data Driven Analysis: Familiarity with data-driven HR strategies, including using metrics to inform decision-making around recruitment, retention, and workforce planning.
• Project Management Experience:
Experience in managing HR-related projects, such as policy implementation or organizational change initiatives
• Change Management Expertise: Experience in leading or supporting organizational change initiatives, such as restructuring or cultural transformations
