Minimum Salary: $18.73 per hour

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Delivery Driver will deliver medications to patient's homes per the direction from the pharmacy staff and clinic staff. This individual will have a professional, customer service orientation. The position requires excellent phone etiquette. The candidate must have a personal vehicle that can be used for this role, mileage will be reimbursed at $0.58 per mile. Exact hours to be determined based on availability of the candidate and ideal delivery time frame.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prior to leaving for a delivery run, the driver will call each patient who has been referred for or requested medication delivery. Driver will confirm delivery window and best address. Driver will make any updates to Nextgen and pharmacy records based on patient's report.
• Driver will plan an ideal route based on most efficient delivery for the addresses of the day.
• Before arriving at the location, driver will call the patient to ensure they are home and prepared to answer the door for delivery.
• When arriving at a delivery location, driver will knock on the door/ring doorbell to announce their presence. Driver will confirm patient name and DOB prior to handing medication to the person who answers the door. Driver will place sticker with Rx number on the daily delivery sheet.
• In order to ensure maximum efficiency, after making each delivery the driver will call the next person on the route to inform them that they are on their way.
• Driver returns each day with a daily delivery sheet that has all Rx stickers present. Driver returns any medications that were not successfully delivered to the pharmacy.
• If driver needs a day off for any reason, the pharmacy staff must be contacted as soon as possible so patients can be informed there will be no delivery that day.

Minimum Qualifications

• Access to a reliable personal vehicle with valid liability insurance policy
• PA Driver's License
