Project HOME is a complex organization with multiple lines of service, including a federally qualified health center, supportive housing, education, and administrative services. The learning curve is real, and so is the support. Success requires comfort with complexity, strong time management, and the ability to prioritize while staying grounded in data.

  • Location: 2415 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19132 (Ruth Williams House)
  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite/2 days remote after 90 days of employment based on business needs
  • Salary Range: $63,031$ - 74,154 / yearly (based on education & experience)

What You Will Do

  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers and executive staff to understand departmental hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies aligned with Project HOME's mission.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing expertise in all aspects of recruitment and staffing, including job postings, sourcing strategies, search firms, social media, and recruitment advertising.
  • Contribute to the development, refinement, and execution of efficient and equitable recruitment processes.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, ensuring accurate candidate dispositioning and an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies to attract diverse, highly qualified talent.
  • Organize and represent Project HOME at career fairs, networking events, and other recruiting-related activities.
  • Assess recruiting effectiveness and recommend innovative strategies to continuously improve talent acquisition outcomes.
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support organizational hiring initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent direct work-related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in recruiting.
  • Experience working closely with hiring managers on recruiting and other human resource issues in a dynamic, fast-paced, and diverse environment.
  • Business acumen/competence: sufficient understanding of social services, low-income housing and/or health care field(s) and specific service environments to elicit credibility with all levels of management and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and establish working relationships with executive staff, line managers and 3rd party providers/contractors.
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, presentation/facilitation and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs and analytical tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational and customer service orientation are required.

What You May Bring

  • Advanced sourcing expertise, including passive candidate outreach, Boolean search techniques, and talent pipeline development using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and community-based networks.
  • Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies, including requisition management, candidate dispositioning, compliance reporting, and recruiting analytics (e.g., DATIS, UKG, ADP, Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse, or similar).
  • Experience leveraging digital and social media platforms to attract diverse, well-qualified candidate pools and strengthen employer brand in mission-driven environments.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting within social services, nonprofit, affordable housing, healthcare, or community-based organizations, with an understanding of mission-aligned and equity-centered hiring.
